Penelope Cruz marries actor Javier Bardem in a
private ceremony

beauty, Penelope Cruz tied the knot in July with well-know
actor Javier Bardem at a very intimate and private ceremony.
The wedding took place at a friend’s house in the Bahamas with only
family members invited, Penelope’s rep told People Magazine.
Per Cruz's rep, the bride wore a gown designed by pal John Galliano
and only family members were in attendance at the small ceremony.
Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz had been dating for three years before
finally tying the knot. They got engaged last year making it also quite a
secret affair. In November 2009 Cruz gushed she was getting married “very
soon” mostly doing it for her parents as they were itching to see their
beautiful daughter get married.
The Spanish-born beauty was the target of pregnancy
rumors last summer, and the rumors continue this summer. It is said that
she is currently 5 months pregnant with her first child.
Cruz, who counts Matthew
McConaughey and Tom
Cruise among her ex-beaus, started dating Bardem in 2007. She
played his sexy-nutty ex-wife in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, for which
she won an Oscar, a year after Bardem won his for playing the oddly coiffed
killer in No Country for Old Men.
