March 12, 2008 -- Former Miss Universe and current actress, Dayanara Torres is once again single. She has split up from her boyfriend, Prison Break star Amaury Nolasco, after a high-profile year-long romance. The break-up was confirmed in a joint statement, which was released on Monday.

The statement reads, "After a year together, we have decided to end our relationship. We will always have a lovely friendship and share great love and respect for each other."

Nolasco's "break out" role came when he landed a major part in the hit FOX TV series, Prison Break, where he plays Fernando Sucre, an escaped convict.

Nolasco, 37, also had several small acting roles in both Transformers and The Benchwarmers, but he's currently working on the action flick Armored where he holds his own amidst a star-studded cast. He appeared at the Transformers premiere (see photo) in 2007, side-by-side with Torres.

Torres, 33, is the ex-wife of singer Marc Anthony and she is scheduled to release a self-help book this summer called: Married to Me: How Committing to Myself Led To Triumph After Divorce.

According to her agent, Jennifer Nieman, Torres will not divulge any details about her marriage to former husband, Anthony, in the book.
