Eva Mendes to star along side Samuel Jackson in
"Home of the Brave"

Mendes will star with Sam Jackson and Brian Presley in a war drama
titled HOME OF THE BRAVE. Directed by
Irwin Winkler, the story centers on three soldiers who've recently
returned from a long tour in Iraq and have a hard time re-adjusting to their
lives.
Jackson plays a doctor
who has been stationed in Iraq for several months and when he comes back
from the war he is changed for the worse.
Mendes plays his sexy wife who is thrilled that
he is returning home and to his regular practice as a doctor. However, the man
she sent away to war is not the same man that has returned. To her shock and
dismay, her husband is rapidly unraveling before her eyes.
Principal photography for "Home of the Brave" is set
for late February 2006 in Spokane, WA and Morocco.
The very talented, Mendes, has
starred in several hit movies like: Once Upon a Time in Mexico (starring Antonio
Banderas and Salma Hayek), 2 Fast, 2 Furious, Out of Time (with Denzel
Washington) the Farrelly brothers' Stuck On You (starring Matt Damon and Greg
Kinnear), Hitch (with Will Smith) and the movie adaptation of the comic book
Ghost Rider with Nicolas Cage.
