Super-sized Eva Longoria hits Las Vegas Desert

April 7, 2006 -- MAXIM Magazine, the #1 best-selling men's lifestyle magazine in the country and the world is celebrating their momentous milestone of reaching 100 issues by constructing a colossal special issue cover in the Las Vegas desert. MAXIM has teamed up with the City of Las Vegas so that everyone can see Eva Longoria's (last year's MAXIM Hot 100 winner) sexy new special cover in Google Earth by visiting Maximonline.com (http://www.maximonline.com/maximusa).

The structure stretches 75 x 110 feet and is erected on floor of the Las Vegas desert.

"Leave it to MAXIM to do something so creative and so wild to celebrate their 100th issue. I guess space is no longer the final frontier! I am flattered, to say the least, to be TV's Sexiest Earthling," said the pint-size Longoria.

"Here's to another 100 issues of MAXIM and viva Las Vegas!" MAXIM will also celebrate by hosting a weekend of fun-filled festivities in Las Vegas.

The weekend includes two days of, celebrities, industry insiders and high-rollers who will enjoy three fabulous events:

* Friday night's Rock & Roll Poker Tournament presented by LG(R), will be a late night pool side party with DJs Sam Ronson and Joel Madden. The event will feature pro-card players Phil Gordon and Erin Ness, celebrities like Taye Diggs and Cuba Gooding Jr. and a bevy of beautiful MAXIM models and cover girls spanning the past eight years.

* Saturday morning will be The MAXIM Shotgun Golf Invitational at Wynn Las Vegas' critically acclaimed golf course. Join MAXIM cover models, celebrities and high-rollers for 18 unforgettable holes of golf capped off with a MAXIM-style 19th hole happy hour. If someone is lucky enough to shoot a "Hole in One" they'll walk off with keys to a brand new Maserati donated by the Penske Wynn Ferrari / Maserati dealership located on the grounds of the resort.

* Saturday night guests will be invited to blow out the candles at MAXIM's ultra-exclusive 100th Issue Birthday party at Vegas' hottest new nightclub Tryst, located at Wynn Las Vegas. * Throughout the weekend, cover models including Haylie Duff and Vanessa Minillo will be signing covers along with a CD signing from the star of A&E's King of Cars "Chop."
