Penelope Cruz signs exclusive deal with L'Oreal
January
25, 2006 --
Penelope Cruz will first represent L'Oreal Paris' Natural Match, a new
haircolor launching in January 2006.
"I'm very excited and very honored to be a part of L'Oreal," said Penelope
Cruz. "I've seen this campaign and have said 'Because I'm Worth It' with my
friends since we were little girls, and I always thought the advertisements
were very charming, and beautiful, and they give out good messages to woman
to take care of themselves and make time to feel good about themselves."
The new commercial featuring Penelope Cruz will debut during the 63rd Annual
Golden Globe Telecast on Monday, January 16, 2005.
According to Youcef Nabi, L'Oreal Paris International General Manager,
"Penelope is a charismatic woman ... beautiful, of course, but above all,
her personality is what really appealed to us,"
Penelope Cruz will next be seen in "Bandidas," being released by Fox in
early 2006. Starring with her best friend Salma Hayek, they portray two bank
robbers in turn of the century Mexico.
Penelope Cruz recently finished production on "Volver" where she once again
teams up with director and friend Pedro Almodovar. She is currently working
on "The Good Night," written and directed by Jake Paltrow.
