"Vampiros" featuring Daddy Yankee to premiere this month

8, 2005 -- Reggaeton artist, Daddy Yankee who has a multi-platinum
selling album, "Barrio Fino" will now test his acting skills on the
big screen with his movie debut in the film "VAMPIROS/VAMPIRES."
Vampiros/Vampires featuring Daddy Yankee, is a horror/comedy directed by
Eduardo Ortiz of Puerto Rico. The main character is about a young man named
Jonathan, who has just broken up with the love of his life. As revenge after a heated argument,
Jonathan allows himself to be seduced by a beautiful temptress and vampire, Gloria.
Jonathan then is transformed from being a mere mortal, to an immortal with an incredible thirst for human blood.
This film will be screened at: Two Boots Pioneer Theater, 155 East 3rd Street,
(Between Avenues A and B) on Thursday, July 28th at 6:30pm
Tickets can be purchased on the day of the screening at the Pioneer's box office.
Vampiros/Vampires is a part of The New York International Latino Film Festival
(NYILFF). NYILFF is a premiere film festival presenting the works of Latino artists and people of Latin American descent. The festival braids together Latinos in Hollywood and the independent film industry, along with aficionados and students of film and the arts.
