Jlo and Mark Anthony tie the knot in surprise

7, 2004 -- Salsa singer, Marc Anthony and superstar Latina
actress/singer Jennifer Lopez tied the knot in a surprise and small ceremony at her home
in Los Angeles on Saturday in front of about 40 guests.
For Lopez, 33, the marriage would mark her third - the first was to waiter Ojani Noa in 1997, the second to dancer Cris Judd in 2001. Noa lasted a little more than a year; Judd for nine months.
She was recently engaged to actor Ben Affleck which was broken off by JLo six
months ago.
Anthony, 34, just divorced former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres last week in the Dominican Republic. The pair, wed in 2000, have two young sons, and he has a daughter from a previous relationship. Us Weekly said it had pictures of a giant tent assembled on the estate and of guests coming and going among tables covered in white table cloths and flower centerpieces.
"It was a lovely low-key intimate affair for the closest friends and family, " Us reported a friend as saying.
"She didn't hardly tell anyone. Everyone was surprised," another unidentified friend told the magazine. Anthony and Lopez were both born in New
York, but parents are from Puerto Rico.
Lopez was on screen most recently as Affleck's wife in "Jersey Girl." She
recently started her own production company, Nuyorican Productions and has a
line of successful cosmetics and sportswear.
Anthony, a salsa superstar who has also had crossover success, is releasing a Spanish album, "Amar Sin Mentiras," on Tuesday. He has also dabbled in acting, and appeared in the recent Denzel Washington film "Man on Fire." The newlyweds are reportedly are working together on the feature film about Puerto Rican singer Hector Lavoe, with Anthony to star
as Lavoe.
