Marc Anthony's marriage headed for divorce

February 2, 2004 -- New York-born salsa singer, Marc Anthony and soon to be ex-wife, former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres appear to be headed for divorce - and this time could be for good.

The on-again, off-again union of the couple is broken and Torres went as far as to file a petition for dissolution of marriage with children on Jan. 20 in Miami-Dade Circuit Court, calling their union "irretrievably broken."

No official statement from either one has stated why they are seeking a divorce, but there has been reports that Anthony has fathered a child with another women.

A Miami nightclub waitress named Elizabeth Leyba says her 2-month-old son's father is Marc Anthony, according to a report in the New York Daily News.

The anonymous person also told the Daily News that Dayanara had said: "I know this is not the only woman... There's a Danish model and a Russian model."

The couple got married in 2000 and had their vows renewed in Puerto Rico in 2002 after a brief separation, have two children, Cristian, 2, and Ryan, 5 months. Anthony also has a 9-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
